A grant of up to NIS 350,000 is being awarded for services that help support social programs for Ethiopian immigrants in Israel. Funding will be provided to a qualified organization for training services and for hiring a national director to address the issues of absorption, education, welfare, social services, and housing in the Ethiopian community. The criteria for selecting the winning proposal are: quality of the project (60%), cost of the project (40%), and the completion of all required paperwork.

Up to NIS 350,000

1 year (with an option for up to a 2-year extension)

Non-profit organizations or organizations listed in the Registry with at least three experience running social programs and training in community development or absorption with a total budget of at least 1 million NIS.

The proposed national coordinator must have a university degree in social sciences, behavioral sciences or social work, with at least two years of experience managing social programs in the community or in absorption, be a fluent Hebrew and Amharic speaker, and be willing to work occasional evening hours.
